Leaving Your Child
Most parents just drop their young person off and come back when the session is finished. you can stay if your child wants you to while they feel comfortable and that's fine with us.
We also hold activities just for the members of this group, things like quad biking, bowling, rock climbing and any other suggestions the young people make.

A Group for Post & Pre Diagnosed Young People
For many autistic teenagers, socialising and forming friendships can be challenging.
Our LT youth group provides a structured and supportive environment where teenagers can connect with peers who share similar experiences, interests, and perspectives. Building relationships within the group can reduce feelings of isolation and foster a sense of belonging and camaraderie.
Some of our autistic teenagers may struggle with feeling misunderstood or different from their peers. In our group, they can interact with others who understand and empathize with their experiences, providing validation and acceptance. Sharing stories, challenges, and successes with peers who "get it" can boost their self-esteem and confidence. Adolescence is a time of self-discovery and identity formation.
Our group can help autistic teenagers explore and embrace their neurodiverse identity, celebrate their strengths and interests, and develop a positive sense of self-esteem and self-acceptance.
