We understand the challenge
Our parent support groups provide a range of benefits that can help parents navigate the challenges and complexities of having an autistic child, things like schooling, the ehcp process, referring into services and more.
Parents/carers of autistic children experience a wide range of emotions, including stress, anxiety, guilt, frustration, and isolation.
Our support groups offer a safe and nonjudgmental space where parents/carers can share their feelings, experiences, and concerns with others who understand and empathize with their situation. Interacting with other parent/carers who are facing similar challenges can validate their experiences and feelings, helping to feel understood and less alone in their journey.
It can be reassuring to know that others share similar struggles and triumphs in raising an autistic child.
