For months, our lovely volunteer Ashleigh Craggs has poured her heart into this project—countless hours of research, volunteering, attending meetings and conferences, and completing weeks of training—all leading to this moment. Were all so proud to her her as part of our team, it's lovely to see people do things for our community that isn't for personal gain but to purely help others.
"I am so proud to announce the publication of my very first book: Beyond the Puzzle!"
This resource is designed to help autistic individuals and their families in County Durham navigate the support and services available to them—something I wish we had when we received our own diagnosis. It would have made such a difference in our journey, and now, we get to provide that support for others.
"A huge thank you to my Ian and Stuart Trotter for their incredible support in the creation of the book, and to the amazing volunteers and families at Little Treasures autism charity whose dedication to the autism community continues to inspire me every day.
And, above all, this is for my son, Carter, who inspires my every step, everyday."
LAUNCH EVENT: Friday, 14th March, 12 PM at Ferryhill Town Hall.
